In 1981, just a handful of winegrowers in the Oakville part of Napa Valley understood what a magical place it was for growing Cabernet Sauvignon. This is when Dennis and Judy Groth bought the 121 acres property that would become their home and the first of several purchases that would gain them more than a foothold in central Napa. With early help from winemaker Nils Venge, the Groths began to bottle their own fruit and establish their reputation, soon earning a coveted 100-point score with the 1985 vintage. Today, Groth Vineyards and Winery is one of the most recognized and awarded wineries in Napa.
We are very excited to be able to showcase some of the Groth current releases alongside Chef Nate Waugman’s menu for this memorable dinner.
